DEEPENING THE CIRCLE SERIES (IN PERSON OR VIRTUAL)
Our yoga practice can accompany us through the different stages and events of our lives and help us evoke the best part of ourselves. Join us on the 2nd Sunday of the month to deepen your understanding of yoga as a holistic health system, find motivation and support to develop your own practice or simply to reconnect with yourself and practice self-care. Each class will focus on a theme inspired by the 8 limbs of yoga and combine a short lecture, a set of practices related to the month’s theme and time for personal reflection and relaxation. Classes can be taken as stand-alone (pick the topics that interest you) or as a 6 months immersion (commit to your practice, get individual attention and save money).
Participants will receive a follow up email with suggested practices and a list of additional resources to explore in their own time. Video recordings will be made available to all for 1 week.
September 12 2021: Examining our motivation to practice using the 8 limbs of yoga as a guide
October 10 2021: Asanas beyond the postures: why does the body matter
November 14 2021: Asanas: how to do the poses and create an attentive practice
January 9 2022: Using the breath to channel our energies towards a more positive way of being
February 13 2022: Examining the obstacles on our path to practice and how to overcome them
March 13 2022: Yoga philosophy: engaging the heart-mind to work for us
Students enrolled in the full series will also have the option of a one-hour private session of coaching and mentoring with Julie to develop your own practice or work on a specific need or topic.

The in-person offering will be limited to 7 students to allow ample distance. Students are required to show proof of vaccination. Masks are required, regardless of vaccination status (subject to change).

YOGA FOR BALANCE AND MOBILITY SERIES (VIRTUAL)
Often, typical yoga classes involve getting down on the floor and getting back up again…. and sometimes repeatedly through a whole class! This can prove challenging for folks who have taken a long break from activity or have mobility issues such as arthritis, disc degeneration, hip or knee replacement, size/weight, or general all-over-body creakiness from a life well lived.
In this virtual class with Kate Bradfield, we will do all of our balance and mobility work while either seated in a chair or standing. Be prepared to work in a focused way and bring the yoga practice to a level that is accessible to you. No one should feel intimidated or turned away from yoga. This practice is for everyone who wants to move and breathe and feel connected to self.

INTRO TO YOGA SERIES (IN PERSON)

New to yoga? Been a while since you’ve been on your mat?
Learn the fundamentals and get started on the path of yoga to enhance your health and well being. This class is for you if you’ve never done yoga before, if you’ve taken a long pause, or if you don’t yet feel ready to venture into the ongoing classes.
Lauren will teach you the basics of asana postures and breath in a methodical way that safely builds your body awareness, strength, and mindfulness. This series will prepare you to enter our basics classes with confidence. All levels of fitness, flexibility, and athletic ability are welcome.
Classes will be offered in-studio only, with classes limited to 8 students to allow ample attention from the instructor and distance between students. Masks are required at all times, regardless of vaccination status.

We are offering one in-person series dedicated to vaccinated students only. This classes will be structured as multi-week series to reduce exposure risk by keeping the student group the same each week.
Masks required at all times. Advance registration required. Please bring proof of vaccination to first class in the series.
