YOGA FOR BALANCE AND MOBILITY SERIES (VIRTUAL)
Often, typical yoga classes involve getting down on the floor and getting back up again…. and sometimes repeatedly through a whole class! This can prove challenging for folks who have taken a long break from activity or have mobility issues such as arthritis, disc degeneration, hip or knee replacement, size/weight, or general all-over-body creakiness from a life well lived.
In this virtual class with Kate Bradfield, we will do all of our balance and mobility work while either seated in a chair or standing. Be prepared to work in a focused way and bring the yoga practice to a level that is accessible to you. No one should feel intimidated or turned away from yoga. This practice is for everyone who wants to move and breathe and feel connected to self.
Tuesdays beginning Sept. 12 | 10:30 – 11:15 am | $120 for eight weeks (note: the second class in the series will be held on Friday, 9/22 at 11:00 am; a recording will be available for anyone who misses the class)

SOUND BATH AND RESTORATIVE YOGA (IN PERSON)
Join us for a restorative sound bath and co-create a field of relaxation and inspiration.
Julia Francis is a Reiki-attuned sound healing practitioner whose voice and crystal alchemy bowls will bathe you in gentle frequencies as you lie on your mat and practice the art of receiving. The resonant sonic waves of the sound bath penetrate the body at a cellular level, aligning the energetic centers of the body. YoBe owner and restorative yoga instructor Elizabeth Dale will lead a relaxing, gentle movement practice to accompany the sound bath, aiding in stress reduction.
A life-long disciple of the vocal arts, Julia draws on her Celtic heritage, as well as her intensive study with shamanic practitioners and sound healers across the globe to help others understand and perceive the power of the unseen sonic world that surrounds us.
Sunday, Oct. 8 | 7:00 – 8:30 pm | $35
